What is NPI software?

How is this different from a project management tool?
Spreadsheets & general-purpose project tools give you somewhere to record the process; somebody still has to run it by hand. Launchglass runs it. Rules assign the next step when a launch reaches a gate or a date gets close, and reminders go out without anybody sending them.
Can we keep our own stages and forms?
Yes. Stages, fields, tabs & their order are all yours, with no code, and whoever runs the process can change them any time.
