Product prioritization
Prioritization that isn’t decided by whoever talks loudest.
Your best prioritization data is in your people’s heads. Launchglass collects it: everyone votes on what’s next with everything they need to judge it in front of them, and says why, in rounds that keep priorities current — and the analytics show the trends in how your team votes, and how those trends are changing over time.
The problem
Most roadmaps are set in a meeting, and nobody writes down why.
The loudest voice wins.
Sales, engineering & operations all have a view. The one that gets heard is whoever’s in the room.
The reasoning disappears.
A designer talks for ten minutes about why a concept works. Six months later, nobody can say why one project went ahead of another.
Everything is priority one.
With the details scattered across emails & spreadsheets, nothing can be compared, so the list only grows and nothing gets dropped.
The solution
A repeatable way to decide, with everything in view and the reasoning kept.
Everything in view, for informed votes
Each idea is a card with images, files & whatever fields matter to you — numbers, categories, links, even formulas. Voters see it all before they vote, so every vote is an informed one.
Voting rounds
Run prioritization in rounds, on a cadence, each with its own allowance of votes. Every round’s result is kept, so prioritization becomes a habit instead of an argument.
A reason with every vote
Turn on required comments and every vote arrives with the thinking behind it.
Vote analytics
Split votes by voter & by any category or person field, over time, to spot a preference forming. Then open a result to read the comments behind it.
From decision to work
When an idea’s approved, a rule copies it onto the launch board and assigns its first steps — no hand-off meeting.
Questions
Common questions.
Can voters see the details before they vote?
Yes. Each idea is a card holding whatever it needs — images, files, and custom fields for anything you track. You choose which details show on the card itself, and voters can open it to see the rest before they vote.
How do voting rounds work?
Every vote on a board belongs to a round. A board can run rounds on a cadence, each with its own allowance of votes, and when a round closes its result is kept as a snapshot to compare with the next one.
Can we see how each person voted?
Yes. Vote analytics show votes by voter, split by any single-select or person field and over time — so a steady preference for one designer or product line is easy to spot.
Can people outside our company vote?
Yes. A board shared by link lets outside people view it, vote & comment, without being able to edit anything or see any other board.
What happens after something is prioritized?
Rules move approved ideas into your launch process — copying the card to another board and assigning its first steps — so the decision turns into work without anybody relaying it.
