My Work

Everyone knows what they owe. You know who’s blocking.

Launchglass gathers every open request into one queue per person, across every board. Reminders go out on their own, requests close themselves when the work is done, and anybody can see what a launch is waiting on & who owes it.

The problem

The work is assigned. Following up is a job of its own.

  • Work hides in twelve places.

Emails, chat threads, meeting notes, a spreadsheet tab. Nobody has one list of what they owe.

  • Somebody’s job becomes chasing.

A program manager spends Thursday asking for updates that should have arrived by themselves.

  • Blockers surface too late.

You find out a launch was waiting on one missing answer when the date has already slipped.

The solution

Every request has an owner, a due date & a trail.

  • My Work

One queue of everything a person owes across the workspace. Each row says exactly what’s being asked, and anything overdue stands out.

  • Requests that close themselves

When the requested fields are filled in, the request is done. Nobody has to tick a box to say so.

  • Reminders, sent for you

Due-date reminders go out by email automatically, and activity can post to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel.

  • See who’s blocking

Every card shows what it’s waiting on and who owes it. All Work shows a manager every open request in the workspace, filtered & grouped however they need.

  • Chase, reassign, reschedule

Admins can send a reminder, hand a request to somebody else, move its due date, or withdraw it — with undo.

  • Reliability, not a leaderboard

See how many requests each person was asked, finished, and finished on time, over the last 30 to 365 days.

Questions

Common questions.

What is My Work?

A single queue for each person of everything they’ve been asked for, on every board in the workspace — the fields they need to fill in, by when, and on which card. Overdue items stand out, and each one closes itself once it’s answered.

Where do requests come from?

Mostly from automations: a rule asks the right person for specific fields when a card reaches a stage or a date gets close. Being @mentioned in a comment puts it in your queue too.

Can a manager see everything that’s outstanding?

Yes. All Work lists every open request in the workspace, with filters & grouping, so you can see what’s late and who’s overloaded without asking anybody.

Do reminders go out automatically?

Yes. When a request comes due, Launchglass emails a reminder with a link straight to the card. Admins can send another one whenever they like.
